We bring optical fiber into condominiums

To bring optical fiber into a condominium and provide all of the value added and functional advantages that it offers, our technical staff must assess the suitability of the building (if it is in line with the characteristics of the new system) and then proceed to install the cable.

The following activities are carried out while seeking to respect the needs of those that live in the building and reduce any inconvenience to a minimum:

  • feasibility study;
  • identification of the best system solution (with least impact on the building, reusing pre-existing internal or external structures);
  • development of system;
  • return of the spaces affected by the work in clean and accessible form.

Our optical fiber systems:

  • do not require electric power and do not generate electromagnetic emissions;
  • are for the exclusive use of the condominium;
  • are free and do not involve any expenditure on the part of the condominium.

To carry out these operations we use specialist companies whose staff are recognisable by their ID badges.

In the event that any damage is caused it is immediately repaired by the company, which undertakes to return the spaces affected by the work in clean and accessible form.

Regulatory context

(Leg. Decree 259/2003 “Electronic Communications Code”, art. 91; ld 25 June 2008, no. 112 conv. into l. no. 133/2008; Leg. Decree no. 33/2016 “Fibre Decree”):

The law gives operators the right to access the inside of buildings to install the systems. During the fibre optic network development phase, the operator may access the spaces affected by the activities to install, connect and maintain the system also in uninhabited and newly constructed buildings. Condominium approval is not required to access the building.
