The green label is the symbol that all telecommunications operators are required to use, according to AGCOM Resolution no. 292/18/CONS, to indicate FTTH technology, Fiber To The Home. Only the presence of this label indicates entirely optical-fibre infrastructure guaranteeing a surfing speed of up to 10 Gbit/s.

At Open Fiber, we use Fiber to the Home – FTTH technology. This term refers to a telecommunications network that brings fibre optics directly into property units. This state-of-the-art infrastructure, built with fibre optics, enables travel at speeds of up to 10Gbps.
Gigabit refers to one billion bits, the smallest unit of information in a digital system. Often abbreviated to Gbit or GB, it is used to define the download data transfer rate. Gbit/s is a unit of measurement that indicates the data transmission speed in computer networks, i.e. it calculates how many Gigabits (GB) of data can pass through a system in one second.
Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) is an ultra-broadband connection that uses radio waves to reach homes in very sparsely populated areas. The data travels over fibre optics from the exchanges to the facilities where the wireless equipment is installed. From there, they are transported over radio waves to the property units.
FTTH technology has numerous advantages. You will be able to surf with both download and upload speeds of up to 10 Gbit/s without interruptions. You will be able to watch HD and 4K content, download high-quality photos, watch live streaming of your favourite programmes, work from home, share your files and store them in the cloud, and much more.
The performance of the connection does not depend on our FTTH fibre optic network, but on the Operators and the type of contract.
For this type of information you can directly contact your referring Operator.
