Open Fiber S.p.A. was established to implement, provide, and operate high-speed electronic communication networks using FTTH (Fiber to the Home) technology across the entire national territory.
Our plan aims to ensure coverage of Italy’s major cities, as well as the connection of industrial areas, to create an ultra-broadband network that is as widespread and efficient as possible.
Since December 2021, the company has been subject to the direction and coordination of its sole shareholder, Open Fiber Holdings S.p.A., which is 60% owned by CDP Equity S.p.A. (a company affiliated with the Cassa Depositi e Prestiti group) and 40% owned by Fibre Networks Holdings S.a.r.l. (a company affiliated with the Macquarie group).
